War Room: A Dark Conspiracy – Week 11 Field Report
WEEK 11 – Reports from the Battlefront
Eighty-five clashes reached the campaign desk this week, and Week 11 proved that the war is no longer merely expanding: it is hardening. The Dark Elves kept the crown, but the northern hosts surged again beneath them, forcing every rival to measure the distance to Chaos in blood rather than hope.
The week’s honours belonged to the Hordes of Chaos, whose return was the best of the round and strong enough to keep them at the shoulder of the throne. Behind them, the Dark Elves sharpened their hold on first, the Vampire Counts rose from the grave with renewed force, and the Wood Elves struck sharply enough to remind the table that Athel Loren still has teeth.
Best performers this week:
- Hordes of Chaos: 2.08 PPG over 13 games; W11 rank #1 ↔ (stable).
- Dark Elves: 2.00 PPG over 10 games; W11 rank #2 ↑ (from #3).
- Vampire Counts: 1.88 PPG over 8 games; W11 rank #3 ↑ (from #12).
- Daemons: 1.80 PPG over 5 games; W11 rank #4 ↑ (from #6).
- Wood Elves: 1.75 PPG over 8 games; W11 rank #5 ↑ (from #15).
- Lizardmen: 1.50 PPG over 6 games; W11 rank #6 ↑ (from #13).
- Skaven: 1.45 PPG over 11 games; W11 rank #7 ↓ (from #4).
- High Elves: 1.40 PPG over 10 games; W11 rank #8 ↓ (from #7).
- Dwarfs: 1.38 PPG over 8 games; W11 rank #9 ↓ (from #5).
- Dogs of War: 1.33 PPG over 9 games; W11 rank #10 ↓ (from #2).
- Bretonnia: 1.31 PPG over 13 games; W11 rank #11 ↑ (from #18).
- Orcs & Goblins: 1.25 PPG over 12 games; W11 rank #12 ↑ (from #16).
- Ogre Kingdoms: 1.22 PPG over 9 games; W11 rank #13 ↓ (from #11).
- Chaos Dwarfs: 1.20 PPG over 10 games; W11 rank #14 ↑ (from #17).
- Tomb Kings: 1.17 PPG over 12 games; W11 rank #15 ↓ (from #9).
- Kislev: 0.80 PPG over 5 games; W11 rank #16 ↓ (from #10).
- Beastmen: 0.78 PPG over 9 games; W11 rank #17 ↓ (from #14).
- The Empire: 0.75 PPG over 12 games; W11 rank #18 ↓ (from #8).
On the global board, Dark Elves remain at #1, with Hordes of Chaos holding #2 and Skaven still lodged in third. The sharpest upward movement belongs to Vampire Counts, climbing from #9 to #6; lower down, Kislev suffered the hardest fall, slipping from #11 to #13.
Battles of note:- Chaos takes the weekly crown: Khorne_Mathias held off the Empire locally while the satellite warbands rolled through Kislev, Wood Elves and Dwarfs. Even two Ogre reverses could not blunt the week’s strongest total return.
- The Druchii remain first: Druchii_Steff’s local patrol drew with Wood Elves, but the wider Dark Elf machine added victories over Beastmen, Empire, Daemons and the High Elves to keep Naggaroth at the summit.
- The dead rise again: the Vampire Counts climbed three global places, with Blood Dragon steel in the local theatre and a string of satellite results over Tomb Kings, Bretonnia and Kislev.
- Athel Loren burns the forges: Athel_Sarah’s Wood Elves tore through Chaos Dwarfs in three local Breakthrough actions, ending the series with a Massacre and giving the forest its loudest Week 11 moment.
- The paychest and the Waaagh!: Queek_Swiss’s Skaven harried the Dogs of War across four 250-point Breakthroughs, while the greenskins answered elsewhere with two local Massacres of their own.
Here is the master ledger of this week’s tabletop advances.
