The Background: A Dark Conspiracy (30th Anniversary Edition)
This year, the Karak Norn Wargaming Club is paying homage to the classic 1996 campaign, completely rewritten and rebalanced for the modern 6th Edition engine.
The artifacts stolen during the Bretonnian incursion into Huatl have been tracked to the Old World. Lord Mazdamundi has awakened the spawning pools, and the Lizardmen have launched a ruthless global reclamation crusade.
- Agents of the Slann (Attackers): Hired, convinced or deceived by the cunning Slanns, your goal is the absolute recovery of every sacred plaque. This front includes:

- Defenders of the Relics (Defenders): You currently hold the artifacts of Huatl and refuse to surrender them. This front includes:

The Stakes: The Siege of the Jade Staff
Winning the summer phase is only the beginning of the nightmare.
- The Prize: The side (Agents or Defenders) with the most points on July 31st successfully secures the Jade Staff of the Old Ones.
- The Consequence: Possession is a death sentence. In August 2026, the winners must hold a final, desperate Siege Scenario.
- The Wrath of the Slann: Lord Mazdamundi has felt the staff’s resonance. He and his agents are coming to reclaim it by any means necessary. The winner of the summer campaign must survive the "Great Reclaiming" to claim the ultimate victory.

Rules & Army Building Constraints
To maintain strict balance across a global campaign, we will not accept hand-written army lists or outdated BattleScribe files. All participants must adhere to the following technical framework:
- Core Rules: We exclusively use the 6th.whfb.app repository for core rules and magic resolution at the table.
- List Building: All campaign forces should be drafted using the Karak Norn New Recruit repository. This engine natively includes campaign-specific units like Amazon Mercenaries and the mandatory Chronicles 2004 updates.
- Conflict Resolution: The event strictly adheres to the Norn Consensus (our standardized FAQ integrated directly into the list-building engine).
- Border Patrols: Due to the popularity of this format (500 pts), it is now completely supported by both the Summer Campaign and the NewRecruit repository.
Deployment Timeline (2026 Roadmap)
- March - April (The Muster): Army painting, list theory, rules-testing and terrain building.
- April 25: Release of the Campaign Pack: Call to Arms.PDF booklet. (Free download including artifact rules and initial scenarios).
- May 1: Campaign goes live. Report your results using THIS FORM.
- May - July: Weekly "War Effort" updates published on the Karak Norn blog.
- Late August: The Climax. The physical event in ZΓΌrich where the club will play the final scenario dictated by the global community data. The Complete Campaign PDF will be published shortly after.
